MapInfo and MySql Spatial

Hi,

Just wondering, has anyone ever successfully connected MapInfo to a MySql DB and managed to get spatial data types to display, for example, as polygons?

This does not appear to be a question regarding the use of OGC standards, so I am not sure if this Forum can help.

That said, have you posted this question to comp.infosystems.gis group? You may have more luck there. Also, there are a number of MapInfo discussion groups located at Yahoo Groups. Just check for "mapinfo".
