AIP-3 Kickoff Workshop
The AIP-3 Kickoff Workshop was held 11-12 March 2010 at ESA-ESRIN in Frascati, Italy. 75 people attend the workshop. The main outputs were to form the AIP-3 Working Groups and to agree on plans and initial designs in each WG.
The Kickoff Workshop is one of two times that the Pilot participants will meet face-to-face during an AIP phase. All organizations responding to the AIP-3 Call for Participation (CFP) should plan to attend the workshop. See the AIP Development Plan for a description of the Pilot Development Process. The objectives of the Kickoff Workshop are:
- To begin the 3rd Phase of AIP.
- To develop detailed plans for AIP-3
- To develop specific collaboration and interoperability goals for AIP-3
- To develop the detailed design based on the AIP Architecture .
- To develop user scenarios suitable for directing development of Operational Exemplars.
