Cadcorp Map Browser

Cadcorp Map Browser is your new, 'no cost' tool to browse OpenGIS standard geographic data served on the web and underlines Cadcorp’s commitment to Open GIS development. Global demand for open systems interoperability is accelerating with OpenGIS web interface standards making it possible to provide common access to disparate geographic information served via the internet.

Dapple is a global data explorer designed to provide an open and optimal environment for visualizing, presenting and sharing massive quantities of geoscientific data on desktop computers. Dapple lets you browse, discover and display graphically rich data from global and corporate spatial servers – Geosoft DAP servers, NASA servers, USGS servers, and the many, many WMS servers currently available. The Dapple project is an open-source activity sponsored by Geosoft and derived from the NASA World Wind open source project. Dapple represents our effort to make this powerful technology accessible and useful to professional earth scientists.

Mapbender is an OSGeo Open Source framework for comprehensive SDI management. The server side component provides web interfaces for geospatial data management of OGC standardized architectures. The software is implemented in PHP, JavaScript, SQL and XML. Mapbender provides a data model, services  and web interfaces for displaying, navigating and querying OGC compliant map services including OpenLayers clients. Mapbender provides service and metadata management, capabilities monitoring supporting OGC WMS, WFS, Context documents and GML. Comprehensive user and group management can be used for authorization of OWS services accessed through a security proxy facade supporting HTTP simple and digest authentication.

OpenLayers is an OSGeo project making it easy to put a dynamic map in any web page. It can display map tiles, OGC WMS and markers loaded from any source. OpenLayers has been developed to further the use of geographic information of all kinds. OpenLayers is completely free, released under a BSD-style License. OpenLayers is a pure JavaScript library for displaying map data in most modern web browsers, with no server-side dependencies. OpenLayers implements a (still-developing) JavaScript API for building rich web-based geographic applications

Building on top of OSSIM and OpenSceneGraph capabilities, osgPlanet is a rapidly evolving project for accurate, high performance, 3D Geo-spatial visualization. It automatically intersects with DTED and/or SRTM elevation trees for topography and handles a wide range of commercial and government file formats natively. Additionally, remote layers can be accessed over the web through OGC WMS interfaces.

SimpleMapClient: What is it? - It's a java application which allows browsing OpenGIS WMS servers.
