- AIP-3 Development Milestones
- Objective: SBA scenarios implemented with common architecture use cases
- Now: Development of services and components.
- SBA WGs to identify resources for implementing their scenarios
- Develop wiring diagram showing the connections between resources
- Testing is beginning:
- 1st) Use Case Testing, 2nd) Scenario Testing
- Plan for AIP-3 testing
- Interest in the status checker service from AIP-2. Action to gather more information about its availability and whether it now works with services besides WMS.
- Demo captures complete in Early October
- Capture workshop as virtual event.
- WGs to identify demonstation topics.

- Data Sharing - Steve Browdy
- Discussions later in day on standards choices, issues of capabilities and effort to implement, e.g.
- OpenID - OAuth
- Shibboleth
- Implementation:
- Use existing infrastructure e.g. OpenID provider - requires trust, introduces a dependency
- Add an access control component to the GCI - requires logistics and resources. Also makes data sharing policies GEOSS-specific.
- Metadata fields for usage constraints are being finalized. Compusult will help with testing

- Vocabularies and Semantics - Roberto Lucchi, Masahiko Nagai, Cristiano Fugazza (No one present)
- Where to register ontologies for GEOSS use?
- (Josh) Need to develop vocabulary management as well as end-to-end chain of expanded / mapped query impelmentation into semantic use case(s). Water / drought terminology and queries through the EuroGEOSS broker are a principal scenario for implementation and testing (along with BD)
- Data Harmonization - Hervé Caumont, Clements Portele, Simon Cox, Giuseppe Ottavianelli' - No one present to report

- AIP-3 Use Cases - AIP-2 plus several new use cases.
- Greg Yetman working on workflow / processing use cases 1) construct and deploy, and 2) discover and utilize
- GEOSS Common Record - need to fix permissions on table
- Developing a proposal table of GCR terms with mappings so that where to extract them from and how to query them will be more clear. Distinction being drawn between limited queryable properties, e.g. data quality status, and returnables which cover a greater variety of domain-specific quality / uncertainty measures.
- Issue of which entities the GCR terms will apply to. Need to figure out, e.g. usage constraints which apply to a particular dataset accessed through a particular service, e.g. dataservice metadata as well as dataset and service metadata entities.
- AIP-3 Use Cases - AIP-2 plus several new use cases.
